ASP Pacomnet enables Bank Bukopin to offer Internet banking services. Customers look forward to banking online by mid-2001
In its bid to offer customers increased comfort, security, and the convenience of electronic banking (eBanking), Bank Bukopin today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with application service provider/ASP Pacomnet to develop eBanking services.

The MOU signing took place at the Bank Bukopin head office in Jakarta. The MOU signed by the directors of Bank Bukopin and Pacomnet encompasses the provision of eBanking services not limited to the Internet as a delivery channel.

Through Pacomnet's Bank2Home.com ASP, Bank Bukopin expects to offer customers eBanking services by mid year 2001. Online banking via Bank2Home.com, accessed from Bank Bukopin's corporate site-http://www.bukopin.co.id or through http://www.bank2home.com, allows the bank to offer products and services to customers at any time, at any location. Customers can make their transactions from the comfort of their web browsers: make balance inquiries, transfer funds, pay bills, and generally manage their personal finances through the Internet or from wherever there is Internet access. Providing eBanking services was the next logical step after other delivery channels such as ATMs.
